Good homemade rabbit & deer deterrent.?

My dad makes some pretty wicked smelling s*it! Use a milk gallon container. Put several raw eggs, a few tea spoons of minced garlic (you can buy it already diced and minced in a jar), half a bottle of Tabasco or similar hot sauce, then fill it with water and shake well. Let it sit in the sun a few days. You may have to strain it. Buy a spray bottle or use an empty windex container. Spray it directly to the plants and flowers they are munching on. It doesn't take a whole lot, so no need to saturate. You will want to reapply it now and then and after it rains. Oh, you need one more thing - 1 clothes pin for your nose.Good homemade rabbit %26amp; deer deterrent.?

Sprinkle blood meal around your yard. If you sprinkle it in flower beds or where ever you don't want the deer and rabbits to go they will stay away. You will need to re-apply it periodically, especially after it rains. Any home and garden store will carry it. If rabbits and deer are chewing the bark on trees, you can get a plastic trunk guard that goes all the way around a small tree. You need to remove it before it damages the tree as it grows.
Shredded Irish Spring - and it lasts longer than most sprays because it doesn't just disappear with a bit of rain. In fact, that only helps. My folks swear by this.
hot pepper wax spray or a dog.
