Don't leave it frozen for more than a year. After that long they get freezer burned and won't turn out. they just fall apart.

Can i freeze deer hide before the tanning process?
I'd say yes.I've never done it,but I had a fish frozen for a week or so before getting it to the taxidermist.
yes just thaw it out before you start the tanning process
I have two bear rugs and a couple of deer hides that were frozen before tanning... no worries mate!!!
