Where should i look to find deer sheds?

i live in ohioWhere should i look to find deer sheds?
This may sound like a smart alec answer but it is not. To find deer shed antlers, you must first locate where there are high deer populations. Then you need to get permission from the landowner to go onto his land. Just tell him what you want to do and asssure him that you will respect his land and do no harm. If and when you get his permission, you just go looking for deer trails. Look for deer rubs and deer droppings to be sure that you are on a deer trail. Just follow it along looking all around on the ground for antlers. \Deer are creatures of habit and will stick to their trails as they move about. You can also look for bedding areas where the grass is matted down. They will drop their antlers around where they walk, sleep, eat and drink.

If you need help in knowing where the deer population is greatest, talk to a game warden. They will be glad to help.Where should i look to find deer sheds?
My dog finds and retrieves them for me when we're out pheasant hunting. :) He usually finds them in thickets or in tree rows so I assume that's the best place to find them.
Sheds can be found most any place. The problem is that the sheds are eaten by rodents. Most deer shed their antlers in mid to late winter so look then. The woods and ground cover are clean and most sheds should be easily visible. The longer you wait, the better the chance something may have chewed on them. Look around bedding areas, winter feed spots, and heavily traveled game trails. The deers habitat is hugh thus making sheds not easily found. Sometimes you get lucky.
On the ground or hung up in brush. Most deer live in a sq.mile called its home range. Get out there and keep looking good binos are very effective for locating possible sheds from a distance without having to walk right up to it.
Along fence lines is a great place when they jump a fence often they will fall off . Also look along thickets near bedding areas.

When you find one look for another when a deer looses one it will often try to rub the other off. If its a large rack I guess it makes them feel off balance if they loose one side.

Look for the white tips of an antler that is often how I find them
try some parking lots, amusement parks, sea world, the beach, airport ect... all the places where deer are frequently spotted.
I use antler dogs... They do most the work for me lol I'm serious!
