Kill a deer-Yes

Legal-Most likely not
no, you need a higher draw weight.
Check your state regulations, Texas is #40 min, and most people that I know use 45 or more.
I would probably kill deer at close range but it isn't likely to be legal in your state.
well it would kill a deer most likely BUT, its not legal in the states where you can hunt deer. it has a minimum of 40 lbs. im assuming your 13 because of your name so you most likely i would say you can pull 40 lbs. if not start about 35 and work your way up.
it would depend on the state you are in in Michigan there is no minimum draw weight for hunting.....make sure that before you go out hunting anything that you have plenty of practice and can group your arrows within a 4'; circle(at the very least).

If you have never shot before get some instruction for a certified archery coach for proper form and aiming techniques. Nothing worse than going out all gung ho and wounding animals and making them suffer.
You should at least have 40# by law i think..My recurve is 50#....
