One of the three people he went hunting with, a friend at the time, has sworn to this. eyewitness testimony. Another person has said that they were told about putting the deer head in a mailbox at the time (though not that it was done to a black family.)





Numerous people have come forward, including former teamates on the football team, journalists and Republicans, to testify that he regularly used to use the ';n'; word. He himself does not deny that he used to fly the Confederate flag, and that he kept a noose hanging fromn a tree in his office.





What proof do you need?





(The difference with Byrd is that he openly admits he used to be a Klansman, instead of lying about his past, and he has changed his ways. No person would consider Byrd's present politics to be influence by race. Allen on the other hand has signed proclaimation honoring the Confederacy and advocated flying the Confederate flag, and he vetoed an enactment of the Martin Luther King holiday -- among other acts hostile to the poor and minorities.)

Maybe you need to read some drudge reports, his accuser has recanted that he called anyone the n-word, he never heard Allen say that word, but he had friends tell him he did, ya right. The deer head, well nothing was ever reported to the police and no black family has come forward to say, yes there was a deer head in my mailbox. Governor, congressman and now senator and now after 30 years this is coming to light, I smell a rat or is it a mecaca?
the first is an allegation....but what ';proof'; would one have except eyewitness testimony. Perhaps it was reported?...who knows and who cares...I have heard enough.....using macaca was a BIG mistake....then the lies afterward.
